Through the Looking Glass

This is my favorite nephew, back after 6 months!  S is ALL boy, but looking at him, I still see my little sister.  Same childhood hamster cheeks :)  We used to swear she was stowing food away for winter.

At any rate, he was ready for his close-up in record time.  He was supposedly being dropped off so my sister and B-I-L could go on a date but at the last minute, I asked my sister to pack along his 1 year photo clothes.  My mom and I whisked him away to the yard, dodging golf balls and changing his clothes multiple times.  He was SUCH a sport--he clapped, laughed and happily sat in a tree while my mom clung to his shirt for dear life.

I just love him to pieces and think he has been one of my best subjects to date!  I'm thrilled to have been in town for both his 6 month and 1 year milestones!

Look at his little college boy self!  At the very least he looks like he's ready to graduate from kindergarten.  He is just precious...I love him, I love him, I LOVE him!  Shh, I'm thinking about sneaking him home with me ;)

Sweet Summertime

I met G late in the day at the park and she was ready to play! She is an incredibly energetic 16 month old and FEARLESS!  She was very interested in checking out the pond, so much so that she decided to attempt to hop right in!  Mom had great reaction time and grabbed her just as G got a foot full of algae :)

This little one kept me moving the entire time!  She was a ton of fun to photograph and I look forward to seeing how the set turns out.  Thanks for sharing your little girl for the evening, she is precious!

Twice the Fun

These 3 year old twins are adorable and packed with loads of energy!  C & G appear to be great pals and keep each other laughing.  I'm pretty sure they keep mom and dad BUSY!

This little boy was so talkative; he wanted to tell me all about his favorite things.  He enjoyed turtle searching in the pond and feeding the minnows.

G warmed up about the time mom reminded her of the upcoming dance recital and she went through her routine for me!  Once she began dancing, she only stopped long enough to pick a few flowers :)
