with soooooo much love!!  I was asked to greet a brand new family of seven at the airport to document their arrival home with their sweet newly adopted 2 year old son.

Family and friends gathered early, their flight arrived late but there wasn't a frustrated face in the crowd.  There was only eager anticipation, waiting to see their new brother, new playmate, new grandson, new family friend.  Over the last year, he's already become an integrated part of their lives, just hasn't been living in their house yet, only their hearts.

Their four children who had been anxiously awaiting their arrival home were thrilled to see all three of them.  It was a powerful and emotional reunion to say the least.

Today, there is one less orphan in the world because they brought him home and called him their own.

In the car, their youngest girl wouldn't let go of mom.  Their compromise was to hold hands instead...precious.

Just last week, Becky added her fifth child, a girl, to their family of two rough and tumble boys and now three sweet girls.  I love their family dynamic and really enjoyed getting to photograph this large family!  Mom and Dad have tons of patience (as would seem obvious with a family of 7) and they were uber-patient with me as I'm a tad out of practice, awaiting the right timing to step back into full swing after our own family addition.

Baby L is TINY, easily the smallest baby I've seen yet.  The older four kids are incredibly sweet around her, the boys protective, the girls doting.  I'm so excited for the blessing of this new child for their fun family and look forward to seeing how she fits in with the rest of their crew!

This little one was a dream.  I've taken a bit of a break since my last daughter was born but just for fun, borrowed the newbie from across the street.  His shoot was a breeze, he gave me ZERO trouble.  He was perfect.

Grandpa brought him by and just so happened to be wearing his hat--a true Texan!  I love that he's even giving us a little smile here...those milk comas are good!
